Ingredients

  • 2 boneless breasts Chicken pieces

  • For chicken marinade

  • ½ cup Yogurt

  • 1 medium Onion, cut into cubes

  • 2 tbsp Ginger pieces

  • 2 tbsp Garlic pieces

  • 1 ½ tbsp Ajwain seed

  • 3 tsp Sugar,

  • 2 tbsp Soya Souse

  • ½ cup Oil

  • 3 tbsp Coconut Vinegar

  • 1 small lime size ball of Tamarind

  • ½ tsp red chilli powder

  • ½ tsp Turmeric

  • 1 tsp Pepper

  • 1 tsp Nagkesher seed (Nag champa, Nagchampa, Ceylon ironwood seeds)

  • 1-inch Cinnamon

  • Salt, to taste

Directions

  • To begin with wash Chicken boneless breasts pieces in fresh water. Whip out the excess water keeping the entire breast piece intact.
  • Grind all the spices including vinegar and tamarind mentioned herein above in a mixer to a smooth paste.
  • Apply this paste to chicken boneless breasts pieces and keep it aside to marinate for about 1 – 2 hours
  • Now, back the Chicken boneless breasts pieces with marinate in a microwave oven for about 3 – 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the backed chicken on a hot tawa and retain the juice & gravy for later use. Spread required quantity of oil all-round the chicken. Tawa fry the chicken till its golden brown in color.
  • After tawa fry, apply the juice and gravy that oozed out while microwaving chicken pieces to tawa fried chicken.
  • Serve fried breast chicken (Gharguti Special) with green salad and any Indian bread.
