2 boneless breasts Chicken pieces
For chicken marinade
½ cup Yogurt
1 medium Onion, cut into cubes
2 tbsp Ginger pieces
2 tbsp Garlic pieces
1 ½ tbsp Ajwain seed
3 tsp Sugar,
2 tbsp Soya Souse
½ cup Oil
3 tbsp Coconut Vinegar
1 small lime size ball of Tamarind
½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Pepper
1 tsp Nagkesher seed (Nag champa, Nagchampa, Ceylon ironwood seeds)
1-inch Cinnamon
Salt, to taste
Directions
- To begin with wash Chicken boneless breasts pieces in fresh water. Whip out the excess water keeping the entire breast piece intact.
- Grind all the spices including vinegar and tamarind mentioned herein above in a mixer to a smooth paste.
- Apply this paste to chicken boneless breasts pieces and keep it aside to marinate for about 1 – 2 hours
- Now, back the Chicken boneless breasts pieces with marinate in a microwave oven for about 3 – 5 minutes.
- Transfer the backed chicken on a hot tawa and retain the juice & gravy for later use. Spread required quantity of oil all-round the chicken. Tawa fry the chicken till its golden brown in color.
- After tawa fry, apply the juice and gravy that oozed out while microwaving chicken pieces to tawa fried chicken.
- Serve fried breast chicken (Gharguti Special) with green salad and any Indian bread.
